Video Copy Services (VCS), an Atlanta-based CD and DVD duplication company, is pleased to announce their sponsorship of the Bi-Annual Open Mic Shootout at Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia. The next Open Mic Shootout takes place on Friday, November 27th, and will feature 31 singer/songwriters in a head-to-head, tournament-style competition. The winner will receive a $1,000 cash prize from Eddie’s Attic, plus CD duplication services for 1,000 CDs provided by VCS. The Open Mic Shootout provides a rare opportunity for up-and-coming talent to showcase their music in front of a sold-out room of music industry professionals and avid music fans. Previous winners who have gone on to national acclaim include John Mayer and Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland). “The Eddie’s Attic Open Mic Shootout has been an Atlanta tradition for as long as I can remember,” says VCS Director of Business Development Trish Thompson, an accomplished musician in her own right. “It is an honor and a privilege for VCS to be able to support this fun and important part of the local music scene.” About VCS VCS is a recipient of an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and is proud to have served as Turner Broadcasting’s in-house provider of DVD duplication, DVD replication and video transfer services since 2001.
